Once in a lifetime

Nights like this.. so hard to get pass.
And so many more nights like this in the next three months. I guess I really need to start looking for a job to kill all these excess time. Any recommendations? Well well, it has been a busy week for me, all the DAE stuffs, all the documents, forms and applications. Have been traveling to and fro from my home, to TP. And I must say... it's burning a hole in my pocket! Thank god for concession (if I get into a poly). Well, just want to rant a little. I feel sad, pretty sad. About people I know becoming people I knew. I'm talking about hell lots of people right now. Some reasons that are known and some... we just drifted apart. But nevertheless... I miss you guys.

It's gonna be Chinese New Year soon, but I still don't feel the festive spirit. Well, events, festivals and occasions hasn't been joyous the past year, so I don't see why this year it will be different. Alright gonna go slack on ma bed nao. This four months will be the toughest period of my life. In 2011, I could study whenever I wanted to, and attend training when there was training, and meet up with my JRYZ. And in 2010, I had school to attend (even though I wasn't in school half the time but you know), and I could still attend Unity trainings. For you curious people, I didn't make it to where I wanted to go to, and I DAE-ed to TP. My results were disappointing, yay for haters. But I know that I cannot wallow in self pity, unlike last year, I have no more time to lose. I do not regret my decision in 2011 to retake my O levels, at least I did better and I had the chance to know some of my close friends around me. It's just a little sad that we will have lesser chance to meet up and spend time with. Really, every setback and failure, we have to remember that "Life goes on.".

So I guess this is an official closure. I'll miss everything, but I guess our route ends here. I'll remember you.

Okay, so 2011 is coming to an end. (and yes I'm aware that I haven't blogged in months) This year has passed by so quickly. Okay, maybe every end of year we actually say the same stuffs: "This year has gone passed in a blink of an eye!" or maybe "Oh this year sucked." or how bout "I wish next year will be a better year." yeah somewhere along that line.

Every new year we think, we think about the year that has passed us by, about people, things that has changed, choices and regrets, lessons learnt, mistakes made. And I want to say that 2011 has taught me quite a handful of lessons. One most important lesson, cliche but true: "Life goes on.". Time stops for no one, and when you dwell on mistakes, you might miss an opportunity or a great chance. You might miss people, miss things that 'used to be' but things will never be the same. Although if given a chance, I would make things better, but until the invention of a time machine, we can never go back in time.

2011 had been one helluva roller coaster ride, full of ups and down. While my clenched fist was holding onto nothing, there were so many others who'd lock their arms around my neck and drag me to where I should be heading to. Family, friends and teammates. And I'm really grateful for these people.

Of course, everyone wishes for a better (next) year every single year. And of course (hopefully) it'll be a better year. Opportunities can come by, but it is better if we created them. My only New Year resolution? To not let any opportunities slip by. And if it does, I'll drag it back by it's neck fo' sure. Happy New Year's eve everyone out there. I hope you guys found someone to kiss on midnight!

How many of you remember how things were one year ago? It's too terrifying, how much things have changed, and what it has become. With each passing day, you don't see any changes, or maybe you do see see them, but you brush it off like it is insignificant. But after a short time span of.. maybe a year? Wow. Everything is different. We all lose. We all lose ourselves to the sand in the hourglass that doesn't stop flowing.

Anyway... my O's are kind of over. All I have left is my Science Paper 1. And to say the truth, I'm not hopeful for my results. I did study, but I guess I wasn't well prepared. Anyway whatever will be, will be.

Waiting isn't tedious. The lack of hope and assurance is what's tedious.

Went to Arena with Jiayu and Timothy, initially it was quite boring I must say, the crowd was.... disturbing to look at. Not the freaky Halloween kind of disturbing, but the type-of-people-is-disgusting kind of disgusting! But after Shuangling joined, it became sort of better. Hahaha, think it's just Jiayu and Timothy luck, forever attending sausage fest. And today was a little depressing, couldn't get the tickets from Halloween Horrors at USS. And only finding this fact out after I reached USS. But oh well! Alright shall go off now hear me soon! x

Caught Paranormal Activity 3 yesterday with
Cass, Qingshan and Melvin at Lido. Well well... the movie was normal. Think it's either: I lack the fear mechanism or that horror movies nowadays have no substance. Scare factor: 2 stars I'd rate. The ending brings the rating of the movie down by a star, and the whole story line... 3 stars? I won't even have trouble looking into the mirror fearing Bloody Mary. Expected more from the movie. Well well, it's 6:41AM right now. Slept at 8 plus in the evening yesterday and my body decided to get through today with just 3 hours of sleep. So oh well, shall get through today trying not to be zombified.

Warring for peace

Just watched a video of this man being burned to death.
What is running through these peoples head? What is wrong with this world? What has become of humanity? People killing people to save people? No, am not trying to be a saint here. But with all these circulating videos of violence, and cruelty, it is quite impossible to feel nothing at all, and these thoughts are pretty awful... unbearable. The worst in all these cases is killing or subjecting individual to torture with the mindset of being a savior or a righteous person. It is worst than those who kill with no reasons, and the logic being that, you are able to think, and yet you allow yourself to err. Those who kill without reasons, I'd say, has already lost their mind and is without conscience.

Anyway, my O levels English paper was yesterday. And I don't exactly know how well/ badly I'll fare. And now I'm off to Facebook to upload some overdue photos which I'll post up here soon! Good night to anyone who is still out there.

Young and reckless

I miss being young and reckless, not giving two hoots to what everyone else thinks, to the judgmental eyes of society, about consequences, about the future. If growing up meant forsaking happiness, if it means putting on fake smiles, masks, if it means not being true, why did we want to grow up so bad? I miss when we could do things just because it makes us happy. Not having think about consequences, only to end up betraying your conscience, giving up things that makes the corner of our lips curl up. It seems to me, aging is directly proportionate to stress and responsibility.

Haven't been blogging at all for the past one month. My birthday haz just passed, am so fina-fucking-ly legal! On the day, I didn't have the mood to celebrate, because I didn't think I'd be happy, nor do I want to act surprised or happy, but it turned out to be my best birthday surprise ever. Thanks to all the people around me, you guys made my day a very special one. (not to mention the special cream smell that lingered for hours)

What are words? They often say that:

"Words are the best weapons."

But they forgot to add in, only when it is coming from a person that matters, or once mattered, only then it is truly a weapon. Words don't kill physically, they kill you inside. And some people, no wait, I should say, many people, don't think before they speak, and even after they commit the 'crime' of hurting someone, they do not think that it is not right. Not only in this aspect that 'word' is a weapon, it is also a weapon of self-destruction when it exists in memories/ words that are said at the wrong time/ words that deliver empty promises. It is funny that we always say "Do not care about how others speak of you." so easily. You gotta be kidding. It is such a joke. We're all judgmental, yet afraid of being judged.

Well, we all know what they say about regrets:
"Never regret anything because at some point you wanted it."
"I am who I am today because of the choices I made yesterday."

Well, yes. We shouldn't live with any regrets. But don't you ever wish that somethings you had done better? Sometimes you could have made a better choice? And when it's all over, only then you realize "Things could have gone better." or "It could have turned out differently." I would have done a lot of things differently if I had a chance to. One example that you'd have heard from me a thousand times already: my studies. The choices you make everyday, leads to a consequence that you'd have to deal with later or a outcome you'd be happy of. A butterfly effect. It is always "too late for regrets" so, make a wise choice each time you have to make a choice. And bear in mind that you have to "reap the fruits" of the "seed you sowed".

I think we should all believe things can settle out in a situation that is better, but if the thought or feeling it is not mutual, nothing will ever be settled. I cannot tell you exactly, how much I'd pay to feel happy. I realize I'm making myself sad over the same things, again, and again. I'm my own cause for my misery. No one can control your emotions. Things has been pretty hectic in the past months.

Am really tired and drained, both physically and mentally.

Why was I so one sided? So selfish in actual fact.

But then I realize, I did my best at that point of time,

Hi again, well, life has been such a bitch lately, unkind to me.

To all who asked on my formspring, or are curious,
well, I am retaking my O Levels this year,
retaking English, Accounts, Combined Science (Phy/Chem),

Combined Humanities (SS/ Geog), and Math.
Which I did very badly for, in 2010.
And there was a huge price to pay - came with lots of hidden implications.
And I don't yet know where I want to go after I get my results.
Yes, initially I wanted to still try to go NY, but now, I don't know.
Various reasons, like not being able to cope in an 'elite' school,
somewhere along that line. Any suggestions anyone?
Oh well, am off to roam the cyber world, or maybe sleep,
and get some physics into ma brains tomorrow.

I guess it's time to take a break.

Things have been confusing and hard for me right now. Yes it was hard hearing it but I guess you could say that I’m used to it. I can tell you right now I’m not going to find someone better cause it’s not what I want, just because you think someone is “perfect” doesn't mean they need someone perfect too. Having someone different makes things worth while. You were so different from me, and it made everything so exciting, so life changing, you made a huge difference on how I see life.

The time you taught me the most was when you were so mad,

because you let out everything you had inside. Look, no one is perfect, I know I’m not, and neither are you, but you always showed me what love was, and how to love. That was and probably always will be the greatest experience I ever had and I’m fucking glad I shared it with you, and if that was our last time we said “I love you” and meant it. I’m glad and proud to tell people my first and I’m sure for a very long time love was you.

Had really lots of fun in Bangkok, finally a getaway from troubles.
Days/ nights there were really relaxing and carefree.
We slept at late hours, roamed the busy streets, ate junk food,
did massage ('cept for me and Jo), ate good and delicious food, went around exploring,
talked our hearts out, had much retail therapy.
Still gonna blog another one on BKK, this time with Jo's camera's pictures.

Looking back at the past year. What have you done in 2010?
Are there more regrets? Or more achievements?
I can't say for sure now. Not till I get my O Level results. ;)
I'm pretty unsure of what I'd get actually.... it may be at extreme ends.
Oh well. We'll leave the troubling till when I sit in my school hall.
In this year, I've experienced and felt so much.
Joy, love, teamwork, care, anger, disappointment, heartbroken,

crazy, sadness and so much more.
've no New Year resolution cause I never fail to fail myself. :)
Am thankful of the things I have right now,
but I don't mind doing better. (including education/ school)

Am really appreciative of the things I have right now.
And to the things that are lost and gone, no regrets I guess. :)

Have been playing with my iPhone4 for say... around two days now.
I must admit I am such an iPhone noob.
All my apps are super disorganised and messy.
I know you can organize them in folders, I don't like!
And really, I cannot stop camwhoring with the front camera.
The last time I owned a phone with front camera was the N73.
I have like 6 pages of apps now. (in just two days! crazy or what.)

Haven't tried out the FaceTime feature yet though.
Anyone wants to FaceTime me? Haha!
I guess the only thing that iPhone loses out to my HTC is that,
IT IS NOT FINGERNAIL FRIENDLY.
Other than that, I am quite a happy gurl with her iPhone. ^^
